Sherron Rivera

Sherron Rivera age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12th, 2022. She was born on Nov. 24th, 1945, in Elk City Oklahoma William and Annie Elliott was a 1965 graduate of Henryetta High school. She married Frank Rivera before graduating the 31st day of March 1964 the Church of Christ Henryetta surrounded by friends and family.

Shortly after high school Frank and Sherron started family welcoming their firstborn in 1966. They were blessed with four sons, Frank Robert, Michael Douglas, John Tores, and Joe Raymond. Sherron later west work for several years John Zink Tulsa Oklahoma until she found her passion in nursing. She worked for local nursing homes Henryetta caring for others which was truly one her many gifts. She continued working as home health nurse and finally landed Henryetta hospital where she retired around 2005. Sherron was devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandma many grandchildren. She volunteered whenever she could get some free time at Church of Christ to spend time with her brothers and sisters of God.

Sherron was giving and always looked forward to the next gathering so she could open her heart and home. Whether it be hot meal, friendly game of cards just to and visit you always felt welcome. She enjoyed the simple pleasures that life had offer and was always grateful to meet new face or reunite with an old friend. She will truly missed and remembered by many.

Sherron was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank, sons Frank and wife Diane, Michael Rivera, brothers, William Elliott and Phynes Elliott.

Those left behind to cherish Sherron's memory are her sons, John Rivera and wife, Jessica of Schulter, Joe Rivera and wife Stacy of Henryetta, daughter-in-law Jeanette Rivera of Henryetta, grandchildren, Richard Rivera of Weleetka, Christina Rivera of Weleetka, Jordan Rivera and husband Jeff of Henryetta, Autumn Rivera of Henryetta, Miguel Rivera of Bixby, Brittani Rivera of Henryetta, Alysa Rivera of Morris, Robert Sandoval of Tulsa, Christian Zorichak of Henryetta, Madeline Rivera of Schulter, Austin Rivera of Henryetta, Travis and Heather Rivera of Dustin, Tekila Rivera of Henryetta, Joseph Rivera of Henryetta as well as many great grandchildren, brothers Al Elliott and wife Faye of Oklahoma City, Lester Gifford and wife Christine of Henryetta, Cora "Corky" Bryan of Henryetta Freda Baker of Florida, Janice Berryhill and husband Prentiss of Henryetta, Opal "Tuter" Shepherd of Henryetta as well an abundance of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Viewing and visitation is scheduled for 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 17th, 2022 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM as well as Friday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service, 410 E Trudgeon, Henryetta, OK 74437
