Ruth Ann Garrett

                     
Mrs Ruth Ann Garrett, 73, a resident of Henryetta passed away Tuesday February 11th, 2020 at her home in Henryetta, OK. Mrs. Garrett was born June 22nd, 1946 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to Ida Linnia (Larson) and Charles Marske. Ruth would move from Wisconsin to Oregon where she would live for about 4 years before moving with her parents to California where she graduated from one of the nations largest high schools, George Washington High School. After high school she attended Beauty School and worked as a cosmotologist and as a waitress in Mojave, California.
Ruth moved to Tahachapi, California where she met he future husband James. After she and James they soon moved to Henryetta, OK in 2002 where they would make their home. soon their children, Debbie would move to Henryetta from Tennessee, Bill would move from Maryland and Neal from Alabama. There were often disputes on game days due to Neal being an Alabama fan and Ruthie being an OU fan. Her family started to grow as the grandchildren began to be born. Ruth was a homemaker, she loved to care for her family surrounding herself with the grandchildren she played with and spoiled. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her husband James.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents Ida and Charles.

She is survived by her husband James, of the home, 2 sons: William "Bill" Bische and Neal Garrett Lemmon, daughter: Debbie Garrett-Thomas all of Henryetta. Grandchildren: Linnia, Courtney, Eric, Emily, Lacy, Ben, Lindzee, Leeza, LaRaya and Emma, 12 Great-Grandchildren, 2 sisters: Alice and Evelyn ,both of California and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and dear friends
Ruth was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be 3pm-8pm Friday February 14th, 2020 at Integrity Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be at 11AM Saturday, February 15th, 2020 at the First Church of the Nazarene, Henryetta, OK with Pastor Tim Cole officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
