Richard Hefner Obituary

Richard Hal "Dickie" Hefner, 68, a resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma passed away Monday, January 3rd, 2022 in Henryetta. Dickie was born September 27, 1953 in Henryetta to Hal and Anna (Simmons) Hefner.

Dickie is preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Tommy

Dickie attended Henryetta schools and in 1969 won the states doubles tennis championship. He graduated as a Hen in 1971. He was also a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 112 and retired as a radiographer after 30 years in the industry. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #85.      

Dickie loved to hunt and golf when he could. His favorite pastime of reflection was when he was sitting in a tree.

Dickie is survived by his wife Debra and daughter Kelly of the home, son Kyle and wife Lois, grandsons; James and Hunter, sister: Connie and Kathy; daughter Bonnie and husband Jeff, granddaughters Cate and Lilly, bonus son Jason, weekend daughter Amanda; mother-in-law Carrie, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
