Mary Lucinda (Peterson) Collett, 45, homemaker and resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15th, in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mary was born January 8th, 1975 in Lindsey, California to Lucinda Peterson Oliver and Donald Floyd Peterson. Originally from Porterville, California. She was a graduate of West High School in Bakersfield, California in 1993. Mary graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she received her BS in Education.
Mary was a devout Christian; besides her great love of Jesus, she had a variety of interests, including Choir with Mr Mac, 4-H, horses, Kern County Rodeo Queen, and most recently, mounted shooting with her favorite Mount, George.
Mary was a loving wife to Carlton Shan Collett for 17 years and devoted mother to her children Sophia Mishael Collett, 20, Jacob Michael Collett,17, Alyssa Michayla Collett, 17, Lauren Lucinda Collett, 11, Autry Noble Collett 3, and Oakley Don Collett also 3.
Mary will be forever missed by her father, Don Peterson (Linda), mother Lucinda Oliver (Bill) , sisters Lacey Peterson, Cierra Scott; sisters-in-law Arla Collett, Julie Scott, Maria Wilhite, Dava Garwood, brothers-in-law; Butch Collett, Tony Scott and Dusty Wilhite; mother-in-law, Charlene Beebe. and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Memorial Service will be Thursday, October 22nd, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service Chapel, 410 E. Trudgeon in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
