Mabel Sunny Williams aka Sunny Girl or Sunny "Bun" a resident of Preston, Oklahoma passed from this life on July 25, 2021.
Sunny was born May 11, 1974 in Tulsa Ok to Peggy Jean Powell & Dale Williams.
She was Mvskoke/Seminole/Comanche/Caddo, enrolled with the Mvskoke tribe and of the Tiger Clan.
Sunny was baptized and became a member of Grave Creek Indian Baptist Church in Hitchita, Oklahoma. Sunny attended Sequoyah Indian School, but graduated from Preston High School where she played basketball for the Preston Pirates. She was formerly employed with Muscogee (Creek) Nation as an Administrative Assistant for Human Resources with the Division of Health Department, Creek Nation Rehabilitation Center,and several other places of employment.
She loved watching her boys play sports and was a loving mother to her children, having a special bond with each of them. She is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents: David Logan Powell, Vena Mae (Sampson) Randall, Step Grandfather Willie C. Randall & her Aunt "Sue-Sue". Paternal Grandparents: Leroy & Lavonna Williams.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents: Peggy Jean Powell of Durant Ok and Dale Williams, Anadarko Ok.
Children: Jacob Velez, Abraham Williams, Gary, Blake, and Sage Wise of the home. Five brothers: Steven Whitecloud, Michael, Jonas, Buddy & Trevor Williams
Two sisters: Edie Beartrack & Chantilly Williams
Aunts: Sharon Whitecloud & Pam Powell, Balerma Burgess, Charisse RedBone, Rebecca (Punky) Williams. Uncles: Freeland (Butch) Powell, Mitchell Powell, Rusty Powell, Rick Powell, David Powell Jr., and Michael Burgess.
And a Host of other relatives & friends.
Viewing and visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Monday, August 2nd, 2021 at Integrity Funeral Service
Wake Services are scheduled for 7:00 pm Monday, August 2nd, 2021 at Grave Creek Indian Baptist Church in Hitchita, Oklahoma.
Funeral Service are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021 at Grave Creek Indian Baptist Church, Interment to follow at the Grave Creek Cemetery.
