Lola Laverne Scott

Lola Laverne Scott, 72 of Okmulgee, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was born on September 11, 1949 in Calera, Oklahoma to Louis Alexander and Stella Elizabeth (Lee) McCleskey.

Lola was a member of the Grovania Free Will Baptist Church and worked for Walmart as a bakery associate, she retired after 19 years. Lola married David Lee Scott on August 10, 2013 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She loved hummingbirds, singing gospel music, playing the piano, and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Robert Stalbird, Oliver Hider, William "Buck" Hider and JC Hider, Sister, Martha Young, Son, Tommy Gene Haney, Jr. and Granddaughter, LeAnn Beth Haney and Gerald Bell.

Survivors include her husband David Lee Scott, of the home; Son, Michael Haney and wife Jarilyn; Daughter, Teresa Stevens and Steve Kelley; Children, Tonnya Rickabaugh and husband Michael, Lewis Bell and Monique Fuqua; Grandchildren, Jennifer Bane, Alex Stevens, Michael Haney, Jr. and wife Becka, Karilyn Foreman and husband Daniel, Brandy Haney, Ashley Byroads, James Sperry and wife Draven, and Jayden Rickabaugh; Great Grandchildren, Elena Boswell, Aidan Bayliss, Wyatt Haney, Jerald Foreman, Alyssa Byroads and Taylor Byroads; Sister, Gwendolyn Stalbird-Abbott and husband Charles; Brother, Phillip Hider and many neices and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service.

Graveside services for Lola Laverne Scott will be on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Oklahoma with Pastor Thomas Jammison officiating.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Michael D. Haney, Sr., Michael D. Haney, Jr., Daniel L. Foreman, Michael J. Rickabaugh, Aidan Bayliss and Robert Lloyd.
