Letha Mae Stephenson

Letha Mae (Brison) Stephenson, a longtime resident of Schulter, Oklahoma, passed peacefully Thursday afternoon, April 21, 2022, in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 78. She was born May 17,1943 at Red Hill, Oklahoma to Joseph Franklin Brison and Vernia Mae (Pierce)Brison.

Letha married Jimmie Rae Stephenson in June of 1960 at Schulter, Oklahoma. She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Jimmie Stephenson, two siblings, infant Barbara Brison, and Robbie Jo and Charlie Summers, and father-in-law Wilber Stephenson. Letha was a long-time beautician in the area, and a newspaper office manager. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping, growing flowers, attending Friendship Church in Stuart, Oklahoma, going to car shows, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her mother-in law Mary Rae Stephenson, Schulter, Oklahoma. Brother Johnny and Dena Brison, Jenks, Oklahoma, Two children: Terry & Sharla Stephenson, Schulter, Oklahoma, and Mark & Rhonda Stephenson, Wilson, Oklahoma; Three Grandchildren: Laci Robertson, Schulter, Oklahoma, Lisa & Michael Thompson, Wilson, Oklahoma, Terra & John Boatright, Dewar, Oklahoma; Seven Great-Grandchildren: BJ and Dayton Robertson, Weleetka, Oklahoma, Nash Norris, Schulter, Oklahoma, Rayden and Scarlett Thompson, Wilson, Oklahoma, Axel and Journey Boatright, Dewar, Oklahoma; and by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. A special thank you to the Henryetta Community Skilled Healthcare Center.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta, Oklahoma with family present to greet friends from 6pm until 8pm.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Schulter with Pastor Phil Barton officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers are Randy Andrews, John Boatright, Steven Carter, Allen Mayhar, and BJ and Dayton Robertson. Honorary Pallbearers: Ricky Andrews, Kenny and Nathan Dahlem, and Michael Thompson.
