John Gazalski Obituary

John Vernon Gazalski, 81, a resident of Kellyville, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at his home in Kellyville. John was born in Henryetta, Oklahoma to John Joseph and Mary Cecelia (Dalton) Gazalski.

John is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Lynn (Chaney) Gazalski, parents, John and Mary Gazalski and two daughters, Donna Arnold and Shelly Smith.

John was raised in Henryetta and graduated from St. Michael Catholic School and entered into the United States Air Force in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a proud American and proud of his service to his country. He married young and was blessed with two children, John and Carolyn.

In 1973 John met the love of his life, Judy Lynn. They would marry and raise their two girls in Kellyville, Oklahoma.

John worked as an electrician, sharing a TV repair business as Judy worked a pet shop next to him. He was a gifted woodworker and inventor like his father. He could work anything wood, he made the cabinetry for the home he built for his family. This became a family project that many hands built, with Shelly and Debbie nailing boards and mixed concrete. He played the steel guitar, living his dream of going on the road playing in a popular band that shall remain unnamed....
His favorite hobby was fishing any time he got the chance. His family spent a lot of time together at Lake Eufaula. John also enjoyed listening to country and gospel music.

But most of all, John adored his family, loving his wife Judy above all. He cherished his family and their time together. He was a very loving father, and grandfather. John was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Those left behind to cherish John's memory are his children, son John Scott (Donna) Gazalski of Texas, Carolyn Suzette Gazalski of Texas, daughter, Debbie Robertson (Anthony) of Broken Arrow, and S. Elaine Stevens and partner Anthony Siegel of Kyle, Texas; three grandchildren, Joshua Hall of Tulsa, Allison Sommers of Tulsa, Benjamin Sommers of Tulsa; three great-grandchildren Kyleigh, Bradley and Zaden; Jesse Bell (Tania) of Luling, TX, Amanda Bell of San Antonio, Texas, Jacob Bell (Cassie) of Palacios, Texas; two grandchildren, Brady Smith and Lane Smith of Jacksonville Florida; four great-grandchildren: Nate, Athena, Autumn and Aurora, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
