John Gerry Craig

John Gerry Craig, a resident of Dewar passed away Saturday, August 20th, 2022 in Dewar at the age of 80. He was born My 27, 1942 in Morris, to Oscar Craig and Elizabeth Inez (Trease) Craig.

He married Brenda Sheryl Sampier February 9, 1960 in Glendale, Arizona. They were members of Dewar First Baptist Church. He retired in 2018 from J. F. Thermal as a welder.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Brenda Craig, son, Joel Jacob Daniel Craig, grandson, Jeffrey Michael Keith Craig, and great granddaughter, Tavin Delilah Arias.

He is survived by two dauthers, Tina Delso and Heather Buchanan;
Five sons, James, John, Jerry, Joshua & Jason Craig;
Twenty-eight grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren;
One brother, Steve Craig;
Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for John & Brenda will be from 5-8pm Wednesday and 8am until noon on Thursday at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells and Rev. David Howard officiating. He will be interred along with his wife Brenda in Morris Cemetery. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
