Jack Hoover Obituary

Jack Hoover, Sr. went home to our Lord peacefully on June 13, 2022. Born on October 16, 1940, in Fresno, CA to Clarence and Vivian (Lee) Hoover, he moved with his family to Weleetka, OK as a child. Jack was proud to be a Weleetka Outlaw, graduating in 1958. As a young adult, employment brought him to California and retirement to Idaho, then back again to Oklahoma to be near his surviving sister Linda Hoover and brother Jerry (Janet) Hoover.
Jack was enormously proud of his children, Jack Hoover Jr., Jackie (Brad) Pannell and Debbie (Paul) Henderson and grandchildren William Pannell, Steven Puskas and Austin Puskas. We all have our memories of his unique sense of humor, love of fishing and golf and of course Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Family and family history were very important to Jack. He so enjoyed every family reunion and get together, attending as many as possible. He loved hearing about his nieces and nephews and their families. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vivian, brother Johnny (Beverly), sister Ruth Adamson (David) and infant brother Clarence Jr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
