Glenda Lee Washington, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Okmulgee, OK at the age of 65. She was born Monday, July 8, 1957 in Okmulgee, OK to Faldo Meeks Washington & Lillian (Checotah) Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Allen "Sonny Boy" Dailey, and one brother, Edward Washington.
Glenda is survived by son, Edward Washington & wife Sabrina of Morris, daughter, Melissa Sanders & husband Virgil of Okmulgee, bonus children; Shannon Dailey & wife Carolyn of Tulsa, Christopher Daily of Tulsa, and Shyla Dailey of Okmulgee, seven grandchildren; Taiah Sanders, Dakota Washington, Mateo Sanders, Tafv Sanders, Yahola Sanders, Shelby Washington, and Khloe Sanders as well as a host of bonus grandchildren & great grandchildren, two brothers, David Washington & wife Brenda of Okmulgee, and Donald Washington of Tulsa, and by one sister, Linda Hendricks of Okmulgee, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 10AM - 6PM on Friday, August 27, 2022 at the Newtown Indian United Methodist Church in Okmulgee.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 28, 2022 at Newtown Indian United Methodist Church in Okmulgee. Interment will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dakota Washington, Mateo Sanders, Tafv Sanders, Yahola Sanders, Lance White, and Cetto Mekko Tecumseh. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Taiah Sanders, Shelby Washington, Khloe Sanders, Ryan Washington and Crixus Hendricks.
Services are under the direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
