EmaLee Morgan

Emalee Morgan, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away in Tulsa at the age of 99. She was born September 21st, 1923 in Kusa to Jess Milam and Bertha Lucille (Stennart) Milam. She along with her husband Streater owned and operated Quality Cleaners in Henryetta for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henryetta and a member of the Bunco Club.

Emalee is survived by her sister Louise Jeffcoat and her husband Gearl; daughter Lahona Kelley; Step-Sons Ron "Bumpy" Morgan and Gary Morgan; Grandchildren Kevin Kelley, Heather Laney, Shannon Morgan, Stephen Morgan, Stephanie Caldwell; and by her survivor's respective spouses; also by a niece Deborah Tippie, cousins, her great grandchildren, and by other relatives and many friends.

Emalee was blessed to lead a long and interesting life and to have so many friends and relatives who loved her and cherished their time with her. She was known as "Em" to her family and friends. She was a feisty lady and you always knew where she stood on things as she was not afraid to speak her mind. She was interesting, intelligent, analytical and caring of others. She had an unbelievable memory and enjoyed sharing stories from the past with uncannily accurate details, even from her childhood. She and Streater were well known within the community for many years and you would often see Em driving down main street in one of the Cadillacs that they owned over the years. Up until the very end, Em kept up with current events, politics and other topics of interest to her. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her and were able to enjoy spending time with her.

A service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 24th, 2023 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Internment will have occurred prior to the service in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
