Delores Ann Merciez

Delores Ann Banhart Merciez, a resident of Pleasant Valley passed away Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 at her home at the age of 88. She was born October 26th, 1934 in Oklahoma City to George Elmer Banhart and Myrtle Ivy (Roberts) Banhart.

Delores was a business woman having owed and operated Bartolina's Bar as well as rental property and others. She married Raymond Jules Merciez, Jr., September 24th, 1966 at the Schulter Methodist Church. She was a member of the Schulter Baptist Church. Delores was always a busy person, she sat on the following boards, Schulter CENA Board, Schulter Fire Department, and the Schulter City Board. Delores loved to travel and did so right up until lately.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Banhart and Myrtle Banhart, her husband Raymond Jules Merciez, Jr. and a sister, Linda Bartolina Morton.

She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Kay Wells of the home;
Two brothers, Donald Gene Bartolina and wife Darlene of Edmond;
Bobby Bartolina and wife Karen of Grandbury,Texas;
A sister, Marilyn McElhannon and husband Wayne of Ada;
A bonus daughter, Angie Jones and husband Brian of Okmulgee;
Granddaughters, JLee and Bentlee Jones.
Also by many other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Delores will be from 5-8pm Thursday at Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be, Ronnie Bartolina, Brian Jones, Derek Weigand, Dennis Smith, Claude Stanke, & Everett Loyd.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022 at Schulter Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Christy officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
