Danny Powell Obituary
Danny Ray Powell, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 91. He was born June 30, 1929 in Jenny Lind, Arkansas to John Wesley Powell & Suzie Elizabeth (Mizell) Powell.
He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; Johnny Powell, George Powell, Dorothy Griffin, Evelyn Smith, and Raymond Powell.
Danny is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sue Powell of the home,
sons; Kenneth Powell & wife Heather of Dallas, Texas,
Mike Powell of Henryetta,
Danny Powell Jr. of Henryetta,
and Stacy Powell & wife Brandi of Henryetta,
grandchildren; Greg, Brooke and Jason Hartman, Leslie, Shawn, and Cadence,
great grandchildren; Natalie, Ray, Seth, Braylyn and Cash,
two sisters, Jackie Nolan of Paduka, Kentucky,
and Suzie Stovall of Paris, Arkansas,
two brothers; Billy Powell of Heaver Springs, Arkansas,
and Carl Powell of Paris, Arkansas,
as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 4-8 PM on Monday, October 19, 2020 and Tuesday from 8AM - 8PM at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene, 718 W. Trudgeon St., Henryetta, Oklahoma with Rev. Tim Cole, officiating. Interment will follow at Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
