Charles Walker

Charles Walker, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 in McAlester at the age of 82. He was born December 4th, 1937 to Thomas N. Walker & Audie A. (Kanada) Walker.

He married Doris A Bullard February 3, 1961 in Sayre, Oklahoma. To this union five children were born, Steve, David, John, Susan, & Mary.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Doris Walker in 2014, two brothers, Robert Walker, Rev. Donald Walker, and a sister, Imogene Marshall.

He was a member of Uganda Martyrs Catholic Church in Okmulgee.

He is survived by five children:
Steve Walker & wife Kathy of Ada;
David Walker & wife Dena of Galveston, Texas;
John Walker & wife Kristy of Okmulgee;
Susan Chowins & husband Ted of Henryetta;
Mary Stephens & husband Buddy of Henryetta;
Fourteen grandchildren: Ray, Bradley, Tommy, Tony, Cody, Alexis, Abby, Hunter, Aulden, Ely, Carlie, Austin, Zach, & Kayleigh;
Sixteen great-grandchildren;
One sister, Ruby Delso of Dewar;
Two sisters-in-law, Irma Dean Walker of Claremore;
Louise Walker of Pampa, Texas;
An aunt, Linda Been & husband Sonny of Tiger Mountain;
Also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Viewing will be on Sunday from 1pm until 6pm with family present to greet friends.

A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 6pm at Integrity Chapel with Fr. Joshua Litwack officiating.

Pallbearers will be Charlies grandsons, Cody Walker, Tommy Walker, Tony Walker, Hunter Chowins, Ely Starkey, Ray Walker, Brad Walker, Zach Stephens & Austin Stephens.

Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 13th at Uganda Martyrs Catholic Church 303 E. 3rd St. in Okmulgee with Fr. Joshua Litwack officiating. Interment will follow in Salt Creek Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
