Carolyn Wallace Obituary

Carolyn Sue Wallace of Henryetta, passed away March 29. 2023 at the age of 83. She was born February 28, 1940 to Julius Wallace and Estelle (Summers) Wallace.

After high school, Carolyn traveled to California to visit family and joined the Women's Army Corp. She reenlisted in 1968 and spent the next several years stationed in Belgium and the Netherlands as an Administrative Specialist. She was praised by her leaders for her outstanding organizational skills and her strong attention to detail. She received several accommodations. After leaving the military, Carolyn worked for the District Attorney's office in Henryetta as an Administrative Assistant until she retired. Carolyn also served on the Henryetta City Council.

Carolyn spent her retirement crafting, crocheting and spending time with family. She especially enjoyed hanging out with all her grand nephews and nieces.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Estelle Wallace, also by her brothers Jack and Glen Wallace and a sister-in-law Corkey Wallace.

Carolyn is survived by her sister-in-law, Janet Wallace of Henryetta. Her nephews and their families, Kenny and Jana Wallace of Sand Springs and Jackie and Cheryl Wallace of Kellyville. Her great nephews, Shelby and his wife Tara and T. K. Her great nieces, Chloe and Jacien. Her great-great nephews, Dayton and Walker.

Carolyn will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Serving as Pallbearers are Kenneth Wallace, Jackie Wallace, Shelby Wallace, Chloe Wallace and Jacien Wallace and David Vaughn.
Honorary Pallbearer is TK Wallace.

No Visitation is scheduled

Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00PM Monday, April 3rd, 2023 at Westlawn Cemetery, Henryetta, Oklahoma
