Anna Louise Carson

Anna Louise Carson, 79 of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She was born on December 31, 1942 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Harriette (Scott) and Yahola Tiger, Sr.

Anna worked in a factory as a seamstress and enjoyed bowling, sewing, and playing the piano as well. She was affiliated with the Full Gospel church and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Anna was full blood Mvskoke Creek Indian and a member of the Racoon Clan. She married Jerry Edward Carson on January 19, 1990 in Hitchita, Oklahoma and made their home in Henryetta. Anna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who referred to her as "Grannie Annie".

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, siblings, Mary Tiger Kaulay, Susan Elaine Tiger, and Yahola Tiger, Jr., grandson, Daly Phillips, and step son, Justin Carson.

Anna is survived by her husband, Jerry Carson, of the home; children, Kennan Phillips, Checotah, Oklahoma, Steven Phillips and wife Terri, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Shannon Robertson and husband Shawn, McAlester, Oklahoma, and Jason Carson, Hitchita, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Anthony Phillips, Randall Phillips, Elaine Dean, Ashlee Howk, Bailie Carson, and Amanda Fisher; great grandchildren, Leland, Alivia, IvyAnna, Stryker, Ayla, Jedidiah, Takoda, Madelynn, Khloe, Cayluhm, Jace, Gabriella and RJ; Siblings, Benjamin Tiger and wife Marilyn, Anadarko, Oklahoma, George Tiger and wife Jane, El Reno, Oklahoma, Serena Brown and husband Allen, McAlester, Oklahoma, Mariena Eslick, Benita Tiger, Jeraldean Tiger, Norman Tiger, Mitchell Tiger, Jon Mark Tiger and wife Laverne, Judith Pickering and husband Tom, all of Eufaula, Oklahoma; Aunt, Samarian "Choc" Herndon, Shawnee, Oklahoma, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be on Monday, August, 22, 2022 at Integrity Funeral Service from 3:00 PM till 8:00 PM.

Funeral services for Anna will be on Tuesday, August, 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Integrity Funeral Chapel in Henryetta, Oklahoma with Reverend Andy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hitchita-Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin Tiger, Jon Mark Tiger, and George Samuel Tiger and Johnny Carson.
