Alice Ruth Jones

Alice Ward Jones had her homegoing to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday 5/11/2020 after a brief illness in Kingwood Texas.
Alice was born in Henryetta Oklahoma on July 29,1928 to Felix & Flora Ward. She graduated Henryetta High School in 1946. Alice married Leroy Jones Jr on January 21,1951 in Reno Nevada while Leroy was in the Army. They subsequently moved to Houston Texas where they raised their family and spent the remainder of their years together.
Alice was a devoted wife and mother to her 5 children and her greatest joy was in making sure that her children were taken care of. All that knew her were aware of her love and devotion to her Savior Jesus Christ and to her family. Anyone that knew Alice will know they're weren't many things she loved more that her beloved Houston Astros.
Alice is preceded in death by her husband Leroy, daughter Debra, sister Lilly, brother Claude and parents Felix and Flora Ward. She is survived by son Leroy and wife Jeanette of Splendora Texas, son Douglas and wife Sherry of Conroe Texas, daughter Diana and husband John of Hempstead Texas and daughter Donna and husband Howard of Kingwood Texas. Also grandchildren Stephen Jones and wife Kim of Bonifay Florida, Nicole Todd of Tomball Texas, Cody Todd and fiancée Briahna of Spring Texas and Darryl Langley of Houston Texas. Also sister Flora and husband Jim of Broken Arrow Oklahoma and brother Richard of Claremore Oklahoma. She also had numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Home. Viewing will on Friday May 15,2020 from 6-8 pm. Her service will be on Saturday 5/16/2020 at 1100 am with Bro. Will Gordon of Northside Worship Center officiating.
