Laura Lee (Edmonds) Sneed

Laura Sneed, 93 of Oolagah, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Oolagah, Oklahoma. She was born April 20, 1926 to William Harrison Edmonds and Emma Elizabeth (Saunders) Edmonds in Prague, Oklahoma.

Laura married the Love of her, life Otto Jacob Sneed on April 15, 1944 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. They were married for a short 53 years and had eight children. She loved God and her big family. She always said God blessed her with the best children and grandchildren. She loved to talk about her family and how her son was spoiled. She was more than a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Laura loved to cook, sew, quilt, read and teach her kids about God. She loved the Lord and her family right up to the end of her life. She loved her horse Tango, getting flowers and raising plants.

She is preceded in death by her parents William Edmonds and Emma Edmonds, her husband Otto Sneed, baby daughter Katheryn Sneed, grandson Donnie Wallen, mother-in-law Alice Sneed, father-in-law James Sneed, sisters Dorothy Reis, Anna Martin, Rosie Borrow and brothers Barny Edmonds, Harvey Edmonds and Jack Edmonds, sister-in-law Liddy Sullivan and brother-in-laws Clifford Harper, Robert Sneed and Floyd Sneed.

She is survived by a son, Jimmie Sneed and six daughters Liz Wallen, Joyce Howell, Linda VanMeter, Pearl Turner, Barbara Roberts, and Emma De La Cruz, seventeen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
