Delbert Dwane Matthews, a resident of Henryetta, passed away October 4, 2019, in Shawnee Oklahoma, at the age of 52 years old.
Dwane was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 22, 1967. He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Matthews and his mother, Ruth Matthews Richardson.
He is survived by Opal Kelley of the home; his children, Joey Matthews and wife Christina of Okemah; Hollie Puga of Texas; Christian Erwin and husband, Dustin of Henryetta; Toni Kelley of Washington; Tanner Kelly of Okemah; one sister, Cindy Thomas and husband, Jim of Houston, Texas. He also had grandchildren, Gabriel Kaedence Puga, Kaisyn Riley Puga and Nyjah Kelley; two nephews Kane Thomas, and wife Molina of Denton, Texas; Jacob Thomas of Houston, Texas and two great nephews, Kade and Fin.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10 at Nichols Park in Henryetta Oklahoma (south entrance).
