Barbara I. Dickey

Barbara Dickey, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 in Henryetta at the age of 94. She was born December 24th, 1924 in Sapulpa to Ernest Grant, Sr. and Lila (Rhodes) Grant.

Barbara had worked as a medical records technician for Dr. Carlton Smith at the old Henryetta Hospital. She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Henryetta until it's closure and was currently a member of the Dewar First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 58 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jeremiah, Hamilton "Jeff" Dickey and a granddaughter, Amy Rhodes. Also by a brother, Jack Grant, and two sisters, Fern Harris & Phyllis Files.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Dickey & wife Blanche of Henryetta;
daughter, Sheryl Rhodes & husband Bruce of Owasso;
Two granddaughters, Laura Meerholz & husband Paul;
Ginny Parker of Henryetta;
Five great grandchildren, Zachery Dickey, Bella Parker, Bentley Parker, Sterling Meerholz, & Jaide Meerholz;
A brother, E. F. Grant, Jr., of Witchita Falls, Texas;
Also a host of friends and other relatives;

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16th at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
