Life Legacy
Dorothy Lee Johnson, a resident of Henryetta, was born on October 30, 1927 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Maurine Taylor and Walter Hunter. She married Roy Lee Johnson on November 17, 1945 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and worked as a Homemaker. Dorothy passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Roy Johnson of the home; sons: Gary Johnson and wife Debbie of Henryetta, and Mike Johnson and wife SherryLynn of Henryetta; grandchildren: Jody Eugene Johnson of Henryetta, Jamie Sue Frederick and husband Dale of Okmulgee; sister, Billie Vercelli and husband August of Henryetta; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 10:00am in the Shurden Funeral Home Chapel with Don Walker officiating. Interment will follow at the Westlawn Cemetery of Henryetta under the direction of the Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.
