Jacky L. Smart, a resident of Henryetta was born November 6, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to Juanita (Scroggins) and Ned E. Smart. He passed away August 14, 2008 at Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 55 years 9 months and 8 days. He was married to Ella Jo (Prince) Smart in Center Ridge, Arkansas on June 8, 1973. He received his Masters of Sacred Literature and was a minister with the Church of Christ, ministering in such cities as, Henryetta for 6 years; Carthage, Texas for 1 year; Dixon, Missouri for 3 years; Mcalester, Oklahoma for 19 years; Lake Providence, Louisiana for 1 and one half years; & Alpin, Arkansas for 3 and one half years. He was a member of the Henryetta Church of Christ and the Lion's Club. He was preceded in death by father-Ned E. Smart.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Jo Smart, of the home;
1 son, Jody Smart, of the home;
1 daughter, Lora Smart & husband Robert Rexham, Tulsa, Oklahoma;
Mother, Juanita Smart, Memphis, Tennessee;
6 siblings, Bob Smart & wife Kay, Russellville, Arkansas;
Edy Wenner & husband Bob, Memphis, Tennessee;
Gwen Baker & husband, Jess, Seneca, Missouri;
Mary Hutchinson & husband Hutch, Russellville, Arkansas;
Richard Smart & wife Patricia , Russellville, Arkansas;
Phillip Smart, Cleveland, Arkansas;
Amy Smart, Memphis, Tennessee;
As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives
Pallbearers will be Billy Green, Clyde Estes, Jeff McFerrin, Jay LaValley, Brent Jenson, & Earl Freeman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Renner, Hal Ishmael, Richard Lillard, Randy Mashburn, and Tommy Booth.
Public Viewing will begin at 6pm Saturday. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 5 - 8 pm Sunday.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 18, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Church Of Christ 5th & Broadway, officiated by Bill Green. Services are under direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
