Lillian Thomas, a longtime resident of Henryetta was born January 15, 1918 in Porum, Oklahoma to Emma N. (Jackson) and Oney Monroe Jobe . She passed away July 8, 2008 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years 5 months and 23 days. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Thomas, March 12, 1988, a son Kenneth Thomas, Feb. 15, 2004, 2 brothers, Alvis & Elmer Jobe, & 1 sister Hazel Jones.
She is survived by two children:
Frances Thomas & huband Arlie, Henryetta;
Richard Thomas & wife Sharon, Henryetta;
5 Grandchildren, Kevin Smith, Henryetta;
Angie Thomas & husband Michael, Henryetta;
Scott Thomas, Tulsa;
Stephanie Bonner & husband Hugh, Ada;
Jason Thomas, Tahlequah;
Brian Thomas, Iowa;
Scott Stringer, Iowa;
3 Great Grandchildren, Kailey & Justin Bonner,
and Weston Thomas;
As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends,
and other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 14, 2008 at 10:30 am at Shurden Chapel officiated by Rev. Notchie Twist. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of
Shurden Funeral Home.
