Helen Louise Rutland Moritz, a resident of Henryetta was born August 1, 1933 in Henryetta, Ok. to Sylvia and Oscar Rutland. She passed away May 30, 2008 at Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years 9 months and 29 days. She was married to Robert Moritz at Dewar, Ok. on February 25, 1995. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by Her parents, Oscar & Sylvia Rutland, also by 1 brother, Richard Rutland.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Mortiz, of the home;
2 daughters, Carolyn Faye Tarwater, Henryetta;
Darla Faye Mullinox, Henryetta;
2 sons, Jim D. Parker, Ponca City;
Ricky D. Parker, Tulsa;
1 brother, H. Dwayne Rutland, Mount Ville, Arkansas;
a long loved first cousin, Chucky Grant, Henryetta;
Helen will be be missed by her 9 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, her loving nieces & nephews, also by many dear and loving friends, who will also miss this one of a kind, loving woman.
Helen's heart was always open to anyone who was in need of a friend. Being a person of strong morals and a strong Christian background. Always gave sound advice to all who she met. She will be greatly missed by all.
Pallbearers will be: Rick Parker, Michael Parker, Bob Moritz, & Dwayne Rutland.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Eagle Heights Christian Church in Dewar with Rev. Don Franklin, officiating. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of
Shurden Funeral Home.
