Geronimo Louis Tecumseh, a resident of Henryetta was born March 5, 1968 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Elsie and Nero Tecumseh. He passed away August 3, 2008 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 40 years 4 months and 28 days. He was married to Mulsie (Burgess) Tecumseh at Little Cussetah Church on April 23, 1988. He was a Pipefitter. He was a member of Little Cussetah Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Rev. George W. Harjo, Father, Nero Louis Tecumseh, father-in-law, Monroe Burgess Sr.
Survived by his Wife, Mulsie Jo Tecumseh, of the home;
son, Jeremy Louis Tecumseh, Henryetta;
daughter, Samantha Jo Tecumseh, Henryetta;
grandson, Zechariah Louis Tecumseh, Henryetta;
mother & stepfather, Elsie Tecumseh & Simeon Lee Sr., Henryetta;
sister, Carmin Tecumseh, Henryetta;
brother, Simeon Lee Jr., Henryetta;
Godson, Billy Wayne Lindley, Austin, Texas;
mother-in-law, Esther Burgess (Brown)
and a host of other relatives & friends.
Pallbearers will be His Nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be, Bill Hendrix, Travis Hendrix, Cory Pitts, Monroe Burgess Jr., Jansen Butler, Daniel Bear, Sheldon Gore, and Jan Burgess.
A wake service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Little Cussetah Methodist Church in Schulter at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held August 8, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Little Cussetah Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Judy Aaron and Rev. Nelson Harjo Sr assisting.
Burial will be at Burgess Family Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
