Betty Jo Crawford-Goodwin, a resident of Henryetta was born January 19, 1937 in Schulter, Oklahoma to Shrilda (Bales) and Charley E. Crawford. She passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at her home in Hitchita, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years 3 months and 9 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley & Shrilda Crawford, her husband James Goodwin on August 2, 2007, 8 sisters, 2 brothers, and one stepson, Tommy Goodwin.
Survived by her two stepsons, Danny Goodwin & wife Lavonna, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and Terry Goodwin & wife Peggy, Drumright, Oklahoma;
one sister, Maxine Miller, Hitchita;
one brother, Paul Crawford & wife Verda Lee, Hitchita;
many grandchildren, great grandchildren,
a host of nieces and nephews,
a special niece and nephew, Darlene & Robert Rich who were like daughter and son to her, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Loren Howk, Danny Goodwin Jr., Shane Crawford, Wally Dean, Billy Miller, and Roger Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers, Joe Bob Duvall, Johnny Collins, Joe Bob Murry, and Randy Murry.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 10:00 am at Lackey Cemetery officiated by Rev. Dennis Elder. Services are under the
direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
